My Story

Sports changed my life. They gave me discipline, direction, and a sense of belonging; things every young person deserves to experience. But I’ve also seen the reality that not every child gets that opportunity. Too many kids are left on the sidelines simply because of financial barriers.

That’s why I became involved with the 746 Sports Foundation. Our mission is to give every child a chance to play, to grow, and to be part of something bigger than themselves. Through free events, programs, and mentorship, we’re creating opportunities for kids who just need a shot.

This work is about more than sports; it’s about building confidence, character, and a stronger future for our community.

About Me

My name is Favian Trujillo, and I’m a proud member of the Kern County community, a veteran, and the secretary of the 746 Sports Foundation. Sports played a huge role in shaping who I am today, teaching me discipline, resilience, and leadership.

Through my experiences, I’ve seen both the power of sports and the gaps that exist for many families. I’ve made it my mission to give back by creating opportunities for youth who might not otherwise have access. The 746 Sports Foundation is built on that purpose: serving our community and investing in the next generation.
