Hello and thank you for visiting my page for this years GiveBigKern where all funds raised on my page will go directly to The Center.

I’m passionate about supporting the Center and my community by utilizing my professional experience to foster inclusive spaces, advocate for equity, and uplift others through mentorship and visibility. Having recently moved with my husband , I’m excited to grow roots and build meaningful connections and conversations within the community. I’m especially excited to step into my role as a board member, where I look forward to raising funds which will allow The Center to remain a staple in our community where we can continue building a community impact, and helping create opportunities for others to thrive, grow and learn.

The Center's mission is to provide affirming events, activities, and mental health support to youth, young adults, and adults so that they can thrive, advocate for themselves, and lead change in their communities.  For 14 years, we have provided free counseling services, life skills workshops, behavioral health training and cultural competency training to reduce isolation, build resiliency, and promote equality. We provide a safe space and a sense of community for 2SLGBTQIA+ people in Kern County.
