Bakersfield High School PTSO

The Bakersfield High School PTSO Boosters is a volunteer organization made up of parents, teachers, students and administrators who partner together to foster a diverse educational environment, create a supportive atmosphere and build a strong sense of community throughout the school.

OUR MISSION: to support the arts, athletics, activities and clubs at BHS, in pursuit of a full and enriching academic experience for every student. Our goal is to promote student enrichment, engage in open parent/staff communication and provide families an opportunity to be connected and involved in their student's high school career. We provide a passthrough for financial support and assistance for every organization on campus. 

Support Bakersfield High School Drillers and their activities by choosing your favorite BHS organization.  Please enter the name of the group you would like to support on the donation page.  Choose from the list below.  You may also make a donation to the general fund by designating PTSO on your donation form.  Thank you!

Arts/Activities: Band, Choir, Drama, Dance, Speech/Debate, Virtual Enterprise, Journalism, Yearbook and Mock Trial

Clubs: Chess, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Black Student Union (BSU), French Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, National Honor Society (NHS), Ecology, Future Farmers of America (FFA), Robotics, Friday Night Live and Associated Student Body (ASB)

Sports: Cross Country, Golf (Girls or Boys), Tennis, (Girls or Boys), Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Water Polo, Wrestling (Girls or Boys), Basketball (Girls or Boys), Soccer (Girls or Boys), Track & Field, Baseball, Softball, Swim, and the Athletic Director Fund.
