Who We Are

Bakersfield Angels exists to to walk alongside children, youth, and families in the foster care community by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentorship.

Right here in Kern County, over 2,000 children and youth are experiencing foster care.

And while every story is different, the odds they’re up against are real:
Only 50% will graduate high school on time.
20% of former foster youth will become homeless at age 18
Just 3% will go on to earn a college degree.

But statistics don’t tell the whole story—people do.
