We’re a Kern County-based nonprofit focused on improving access to care for uninsured and underinsured adults age 50 and older. Through our ThriveCare Assistance Program, we provide direct medical grants, medication cost support, and transportation assistance to help seniors stay connected to the care they need.

Every day in Kern County, older adults face difficult choices between medical care, prescriptions, and basic living expenses. Even with insurance, many cannot afford the full cost of treatment.

Without support, seniors may delay or skip care, go without necessary medications, or miss critical follow-up appointments. These gaps can lead to worsening health and avoidable complications.

Your contribution helps remove these barriers, ensuring seniors can access care, maintain treatment, and live with greater stability and dignity.

YOUR SUPPORT MAKES THIS POSSIBLE

ThriveCare Grants

Provide financial assistance of up to $1,000 based on need to help seniors cover essential medical expenses, including doctor visits, testing, and prescription costs. Grants are available for all medical conditions except cancer and help remove immediate financial barriers so patients can receive timely care.

Medication Cost Research

Help seniors find more affordable prescription options by comparing pharmacy pricing, generics, and cost-saving alternatives to reduce out-of-pocket costs.

Transportation Assistance

Provide gas cards to help seniors attend appointments, complete follow-up care, and pick up prescriptions, ensuring they stay connected to care.
