We’re thrilled to announce the 10th Annual Bakersfield Marathon, is happening Sunday, April 4, 2027!  With 2027, promising to be unforgettable for runners, donors, staff, and volunteers alike.

Runners explored Bakersfield’s scenic and historic neighborhoods on foot during this year’s event! With well-stocked aid stations along the route, every runner can stay refreshed and energized. After the run, celebrate your achievement at our lively post-race festival filled with fun and community spirit. 🎉

In 2026, over 5,375 runners of all ages came together, sharing the spirit of competition and camaraderie. Participants traveled from across the United States and around the world to be part of this unforgettable experience. 🌎👟 —and 2027 year will be even better, with some new changes.

The Bakersfield Marathon is your chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon right here at home. Whether you’re a sponsor, a family member, a friend, or a first-time donor, there’s a place for you.
