G'day — I'm Aidan Wilson, from Orange, a small country town in New South Wales, Australia.
Last year I had the privilege of spending three months training and competing with Kern Premier, and going to the Junior Olympics alongside my Kern teammates. That experience developed my game more than I could have imagined — and directly contributed to me earning selection in the Australian Under 18 National Squad as a bottom-age player. The coaches pushed me to a new level, Bakersfield became a second home, and the players I lined up with became lifelong mates. I'd been hoping ever since to find a way to come back.
This year I get to do exactly that. From 18 May to 1 August 2026, I'll be back with Kern Premier for the summer program, training full-time and competing through the US tournament season. My long-term dream is to play Division I College Water Polo, and every session in the Kern pool this summer is a step toward that goal.
Your support goes directly toward club fees, tournament entries, and training costs for my stay. Every contribution — big or small — helps make this possible.
To the Kern Premier families, coaches, and Bakersfield community: thank you for making a country kid from the other side of the world feel part of the club last year, and for welcoming me back. I can't wait to get in the water with you again.
