The Center is a safe haven for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and allies, offering counseling, support groups, community events, and education that foster belonging, healing, and authentic self-expression. In a region where many still face stigma, isolation, and harmful barriers, The Center stands as a beacon of hope.
And now, its impact is growing. With a new, unified space in downtown Bakersfield, The Center is bringing all of its services under one roof, expanding access to critical resources and deepening its role as a hub for connection, care, and community.
But this work is at a critical moment. As major grant funding sunsets, The Center must turn to community support to sustain the life-changing services so many rely on.
