Brenda Jean’s Sober Living Facility believes recovery, dignity, and opportunity should go hand in hand. Through our Food Pantry and Internship Program, we work every day to meet immediate needs while also helping people build a stronger future.

Our Food Pantry provides free groceries to individuals and families in need, offering emergency bags designed to help get a household through the week. For many in our community, this support is more than food on the table—it is relief, hope, and the reminder that they are not alone. Brenda Jean’s is committed to serving neighbors with compassion and consistency, because no one should have to choose between survival and stability. 

At the same time, our Internship Program is creating life-changing opportunities for the next generation of helpers and healers. Brenda Jean’s partners with local and university programs including Master of Social Work interns, to work under the supervision of our LCSW. This investment strengthens our organization while helping prepare future professionals to serve Kern County with skill, heart, and purpose.
